CHAUSSEURS DU PARIS

This little-known French cobbler made boots worn by many of Europe's top showgirls, dominas and prostitutes, as well as lady and gentleman fetishists during the 1970s and '80s. One of Chausseurs du Paris' main retail outlets, Ernest, popularized their superbly made, two-toned knee-length and thigh-high boots at their Pigalle store, and in a widely distributed French mail-order catalog.
