BOOT MAKER FEATURE

M&D Shoes Of Toronto

Throughout the 1990s, most of the strippers and hookers in North America owned at least a few pairs of M&D thigh-highs! Located in a northern suburb of Toronto, the M&D Shoes factory turned out more styles and quantities of ultra-sexy, high-heeled shoes and boots than almost any other manufacturer. You couldn't enter a titty bar in Canada without seeing a pair of M&D thigh boots with big red kisses or bold dollar signs on them. Streetwalkers sported even more colorful M&D knee boots and over-the-knee styles, from Minneapolis to Miami. In the dark chambers of dominant women from throughout North America, at least one pair of black-leather M&D boots with spurs, studs or chains hung in a mistress' wardrobe. The rise and fall of this boot-making powerhouse is a story every boot lover should read... including you!

CONFESSIONS OF A FETISHIST

In this issue of Bootlovers.Com our resident confessor, John, tells of his unique fetish experience at the famous, annual Harley-Davidson motorcycle gathering at Sturgis, South Dakota. Would you believe that John and the woman pictured here made their way to her campsite (and tent full of thigh-highs) with the full knowledge and permission of the woman's husband? They did, and John has a bunch of photos that are just as exciting as the story he has to relate.

BOOT OF THE MONTH

The boot you see here was made by John Lobb, Royal Warrant bootmaker to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh and to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The same company has supplied royals going back to Queen Victoria in 1846. This boot, nestled in the front display window of the John Lobb premises, was made sometime during the 1930s. The story of this amazing, butter-soft, black-leather thigh boot is one any self-respecting boot lover simply cannot miss!
