Originally from France, this London-based, made-to-measure footwear designer is one of the most outrageously creative bootmakers we've ever met. From her ultra-petite, calf-high snakeskin "booties" with curved, stainless-steel, rapier heels, to the exaggerated platform thigh boots that Frankenstein's monster would have been perfectly comfy in, Ms. Marro has pushed the envelope when it comes to boot design. She's created hundreds of pairs of amazing boots for rock stars, movie production companies, pop-music videos, fashion designers and for fetishists like us who have a knee- or thigh-length fantasy and want it turned into a wearable reality. BOOT OF THE MONTH

They were the original inspiration for Diana Balance's scroll-topped, black-and-red-leather thigh-highs featured in issue #1, which DJ acquired from Diana and gave to Teri. You've seen them in our Peek-A-Boot Theater web cam from time to time. This month's featured boot is also the original, though indirect, inspiration for several pairs of similar thigh-highs recently made at The Little Shoe Box and owned by Bootlovers.Com subscribers who have shown off their new acquisitions proudly in our Close Up Gallery. The originals are this amazing pair of Berger boots, owned by a man we fondly know of as The Chairman from Houston, Texas. They were made in the late 1950s, and no pair of boots we know of evokes pure fetishistic desire like this exquisite pair of crotch-high front-lacers with fancy red scallops at the toe, the heel and the top stitching. Plus, these boots have quite a history. Just wait until you see pictures of all the women who have worn them, including the very lucky Mrs. Gebhardt!

 

 

 

CONFESSIONS OF A FETISHIST
